  • At Somira, we offer therapy that supports your mind, body, and spirit. We support adults from diverse backgrounds in exploring their inner world, navigating life changes, regaining their voice, and reconnecting with a fuller sense of self.

  • We weave together EMDR, Narrative Therapy, Acceptance & Commitment Therapy (ACT), and mindfulness-based somatic psychotherapy to gently process cultural, relational, and intergenerational experiences held in the body, and create space for reflection, healing, and growth. Together, we focus on developing self-trust, emotional clarity and a grounded sense of identity beyond inherited expectations.

I’m Grace. I believe each person carries an inner wisdom, even when life has made it feel distant or hard to trust. Many people come to therapy feeling overwhelmed or disconnected from their own voice, especially after a long period of adapting, coping, or putting others first.

My role isn’t to tell you who to be or what to do, but to walk alongside you as you make sense of your inner world. Together, we create a steady, respectful space to slow down, reflect, and explore what has shaped you - including your relationships, culture, and life experiences.

I work in a trauma-informed and culturally sensitive way, moving at a pace that feels safe and collaborative. Therapy with me is about listening closely to what’s present, understanding patterns with compassion, and gently reconnecting with parts of yourself that may have been silenced, doubted, or overlooked.

  • The number of sessions varies depending on your goals, needs, and pace. Some clients find relief in a few sessions, while others benefit from ongoing support over months. We will discuss this together as your therapy unfolds. There is no fixed requirement, and it’s always collaborative.

  • Standard sessions are 50 minutes long. The frequency varies based on your needs and preferences. Some clients start weekly to build momentum, while others opt for every two weeks. We can talk about what feels manageable during your first consultation.

  • Yes, I offer Telehealth sessions via secured video, allowing attend from a private space that feels comfortable. Online therapy is just as effective and meaningful as in-person sessions, and we’ll take time to make sure the space and process feel safe for you.

  • The first session is a gentle space to slow down and begin getting to know each other, while exploring what has brought you to therapy and noting what feels present in your body and inner world. In ongoing sessions, we work collaboratively with emotions, patterns, and bodily responses, building awareness and safety over time. There is no checklist and no right way to so therapy.

  • Fee and cancellation policies are clear outline on the Fee & Policies page. I aim to make therapy accessible while keeping appointments safe and respectful.

  • If you need to reschedule or cancel an appointment, please provide at least 48 hours’ notice. Life happens, and we understand that plans sometimes change.   • Yes. Everything shared in the session is confidential and treated with care. For clients under 18, your privacy is respected as much as possible, while we are required by law to act if there are safety concerns or serious harm.
